TINT obtained the largest project at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering so far
2023-01-30Mobility GT: Tribological Research on Surfaces and Contacts for Green Mobility – CoFund project of Horizon Europe was awarded the Seal of Excellence, with which Prof. Mitjan Kalin, PhD, who will coordinate a project of 24 postdoctoral research projects worth 7.6 million euros.

2022-10-21The Network Wide Event (NWE) of the GreenTRIBOS joint doctorate programme on Green Tribology for Sustainable Engineering was held in Lyon (France) from 10 to 13 October 2022 in collaboration with Total Energies, which hosted the first part of the event - the Industrial Days.

2022-06-16The 14th SLOTRIB 2022 Conference on Tribology, Lubricants and Green technologies took place in Portorož on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022. The conference, which is organized by the Slovenian Society for Tribology, has traditionally been held every two years since 1994. This year's SLOTRIB, after a four-year hiatus caused by the Covid-19 epidemic, was held together with the IRT industrial forum for the first time.

41th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology, 2nd-5th of September, Leeds
2014-10-27The international conference Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology, 41st in a row, took place in September at Leeds Trinity University of Leeds. The conference is one of the most prominent conferences in the field of tribology and this year it was attended by 170 scientists and experts from many countries of the world.
