dr. Sandan Kumar Sharma
Short biography
Dr. Sandan Kumar Sharma received his bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in 2010 from T.I.T. Bhopal, RGPV, India. He has awarded his master degree in metallurgical and materials engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee in June 2012. After his master, he has worked as assistant professor in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Bhopal, India. He started his PhD in January 2013 under the supervision of Prof. B V Manoj Kumar at IIT Roorkee India, and achieved his Ph.D. degree in October 2017. His research interest includes processing of advance ceramics and their tribology. After PhD, he was employed at Saint-Gobain Abrasive, India till August 2018. From December 2018 to January 2020 he was employed as Research Associate at the Laboratory for Tribology and Interface nanotechnology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
