Conference ECOTRIB 2025

The TINT members presented two papers at the conference, dr. Lucija Čoga and young researcher Mark Kuzman gave oral presentations showcasing their ongoing work.
The European Conference on Tribology (ECOTRIB) is a biennial conference organized through the collaboration of the Austrian, Italian, Slovenian, and Swiss Tribology Societies. The conference is held every two years in one of the partner countries. This year’s ECOTRIB 2025 took place from 28 to 30 July in Zürich, Switzerland.
The conference covered the key areas of tribology, including wear, lubrication and lubricants, coatings and surfaces, surface phenomena at the nanoscale, modelling and simulations in tribology, biotribology, and machine elements. All TINT contributions were well received, and the event provided an excellent opportunity for the exchange of ideas and the latest knowledge among researchers and engineers from various fields of tribology.
The next ECOTRIB conference will be held in Slovenia in 2027.
