Short biography

After finishing high school in 2008, he pursued a bachelor's degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. He completed his degree in 2012 with the thesis titled "Development, characterization and heat treatment study of (AISI 5130) steel". Soon after, in 2013, he worked in a "Failure Analysis Center" of a Materials Testing Laboratory in Pakistan for a 3 years. In 2016, he joined a Joint European master's degree program with a focus on "Tribology of surfaces and interfaces" under the flagship of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus program - TRIBOS. He successfully finished his master studies in 2018 with the thesis titled "Tribological Characterization of DLC Coatings deposited by HiPIMS". In the same year, he started working as a Young researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana, to continue his PhD studies under the mentorship of Prof. dr. Mitjan Kalin to investigate the Thermal analysis of polymer containing tribological contacts .
