Yuanfei Zhang
Short biography
Yuanfei Zhang was born in 2000 in China. In 2018, he majored in the Mechanical design, Maufacturing and Automation in the Qingdao University of Technology. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2022. In the same year, he began a joint master's program with Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at Qingdao University of Technology. In 2025, he obtained a Master of engineering degree with a thesis titled ''Tribofilm growth characteristic of anti-wear additives at oil lubrication interfaces.'' Since 2025, he been employed as a young researcher in the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, under the supervision Prof. dr. Marko Polajnar. His current research focuses on the wear mechanism of ZDDP tribofilm and the development of new additives.
